Valerie Maholmes, Ph.D.The research focus for Dr. Maholmes is child development, particularly psychosocial, cultural, and environmental factors affecting minority children. She has worked with the Yale University Child Study Center as a director of research and policy and an endowed faculty professorial chair, and she has served in executive positions with the New Haven Board of Education, the Arnold Gesell Institute of Human Development, and the Society for Research in Child Development. |
